CLEAR DNS CACHE
BL Bishnoi ji saath h
Each time a user visits a website, Windows
stores its DNS information in DNS cache. This is done so that the website is
loaded faster the next time the user visits the homepage. Now, there are two
type of entries that are stored in the DNS cache i.e. Positive entries and
Negative entries. Positive entries are stored when a user can connect to a
website and vice versa. But at times, there are instances wherein a user cannot
connect to a website if there are negative entries stored in the DNS cache even
the website is viewable. Several users might also receive a DNS error. Clearing
the DNS cache can also solve the problem as well as other internet problem. To clear
the DNS cache in Window Vista:
Go
to ‘Start /Accessories /Command Prompt’.
Right-click ‘Command
Prompt’ and from the context menu, select ‘Ran as administrator’.
On the
command prompt, type, ‘ipconfig/flushdns’and press the [Enter] key.
